After some years I came to the conclusion that my needs in photography and videography would be a Sony APS-C with a Sigma lens/es for video and a Fuji with a 27mm and/or a 23mm for street photography and other lenses for portraits.
Few years back I wasn't sure about the X-E3 or the X-T3, rangefinder vs DSLR. Then the X-T4 came out but it was a bit big. The X-E4 was great but didn't have some of the previous buttons and was missing the grip so I didn't buy anyone. Finally the X-E5 is here and looks like the perfect camera.

My interest in street photography (and portraits and videography) commenced some years ago before the pandemic after YouTube.
I've been looking for cameras since then, trying to learn online about systems, lenses, sensors,... and the technical and artistic info and approach to it.
In this little album, I show some of the pictures I took at the Justicia neighbourhood in central Madrid, one of my favourite areas in the city, full of boutiques, little shops, cafés... and a great atmosphere.

I'm working on the interior of a kitchen in Madrid. There will be no coverts in the top, just a shelf with kitchen elements and decor. I'm proposing to quit the exhaust fan and using ones that are minimal to leave the image of the front clean and simple.
I'm presenting various color palettes, ones in tones of light blues aqua blues for the coverts like the one in the image with different colours of marble for the top and the shelf. The front is going to be in marble.

Casa Cubista is a company that started in 2016 in Portugal. Everything is hand made and painted by hand so each piece is unique. I've always liked hand made products, they have character and warmth and personality to any house, restaurant or any other type of interior. The owners are Canadian but based in Portugal. You can find their pieces in Madrid at Le Ruelle or in London at Heal's. Their lovely bright colours and designs are captivating.

I've been working for a while in a wireless LED desk lamp and I have various versions. Some have the base flat like the one in the picture and others have a round base with a weight so the lamp doesn't fall.
There are already in the market various similar lamps but I haven't seen yet some as the ones I have. I'm planning to finish the design soon and present it to various manufacturers.

The first time visiting Italy was in the late 90s or early 2000s and besides art, history, culture... I really enjoyed the authentic "Italian gelato" made with natural ingredients and served with an ice cream spade instead of a scoop spoon, which makes the experience truly enjoyable as there's no room for air inside the scoops. Marchionne gelato is a small firm that reached me out to design the logo and packaging, from selecting the typography to creating the "crown" style icon on the label. Inspired by 70s styles, also resembles a plant pot and a cup with three scoops.

I commenced skating when I was a child and with some interruptions I'm still skating to this day. Setting up a new board and trucks slightly bigger than my previous size, the moment is promising lots of fun at the skatepark.
Skateboarding, connected to art and design in various forms and depths, sometimes continues to be a subliminal layer on my daily approach to design projects in an abstract way. Three artists/designers involved in the skate culture that I like are Brian Lotti, Evan Hecox and Michael Leon.

A 50-storey office tower in London was completed in May 2023. The building developed by Stanhope and Mitshubishi Estate, is known for its sustainable design, including being the first speculative tower in the city to achieve BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A ratings among many other awards. It also features a free public viewing called "The Lookout" on the 50th floor.
It was designed by London's Wilkinson Eyre architects.

I'm currently working on a shoe boutique store for men in London. The space is conceived as a mixture of elements, from art galleries to 70s graphic and interior design shapes for the wall displays where shoes and accessories like glasses or hats could be displayed next to each other without disconnections as a unity.

With the tech advances in hybrid cameras and platforms like YouTube, it is incredible what filmmakers, portrait or street photographers can do today with minimal tools. Looking to deepen in this arena, not sure yet about a Sony Full-Frame or APS-C, or a Fuji, and preferring a rangefinder style body, can't deny that the X-T5 is just a beauty.

I'm compiling a selection of life drawings from my time studying classic drawing and oil painting as a preparation access to Fine Arts UCM university. I have around 8 blocks of 120 pages each that I'd like to put on sale or in an exhibition. More info soon.

I've just visited the fair and I had the pleasure to discover many interesting things, from the latest materials, furniture, lighting... to a variety of talks and projects shown by studios, architects and designers. Sustainability in hotel design and materials has been for me the most interesting subject.

This concept released in September 2022, is probably one of the coolest cars I've seen in a long time. From an aesthetics point of view, to new materials, exterior and interior design, it's full of innovations. The sustainable idea of the wheels in collaboration with Goodyear is particularly smart.
